Artists are encouraged to donate pieces to the live and silent auctions Friday evening with the option of splitting the proceeds 50/50.  Artists will receive 50% of the purchase price. The other 50% will help offset the show costs. 

NEW:  Artists are who register their piece by September 30 will have it included in an auction booklet handout along with their bio. Later registrations are still accepted but won't be included in the booklet. 

Sponsors also have the opportunity to donate merchandise and/or gift certificates to help support the show.

Miniatures Auction
Sunday afternoon - starting at 1:00

Pieces from the In-Show Pin Carving Competition and the Quick Draw will be auctioned off along with the pieces in the Cocktail Glass Carvings and the Wildlife Stamp Competitions.

The carved pumpkins will also be sold Sunday afternoon with the proceeds being split between the Saskatoon Zoo Society and the show. Consider purchasing a carved pumpkin to donate to a senior's or group home such as the Saskatoon Crisis Nursery or Ronald McDonald House to further spread our love of art around the community.

Pin Carving: In-Show Carving Competition
Sunday 9:00 am - noon

Free enrollment:
Sign-up at registration on Thursday or if you are unable to do that, simply show up at 9:00 am on Sunday.

Supplies to bring:
Carving, texturing, and/or painting equipment and supplies as needed. Power carvers must bring a suitable dust-collector. Blanks with patterns will be supplied.

This is a fun event in which participating artists will have 3 hours to complete a carving or a small pin - subject to be determined. Finished pieces can be smooth, textured, painted or natural. Finished works will be judged and ribbons awarded.

All Pin Carving Entries will be auctioned at this Miniatures Auction. Artists may elect to receive a 50/50 split or may donate full proceeds to help offset show expenses.

Members of the public enjoy visiting with the artists and always appreciate seeing carvers at work.

Quick Draw (2 events: Adult and Junior 17 & under)
Sunday 9:00 am - noon

Free enrollment:
Sign-up at registration on Thursday or if you are unable to do that, simply show up at 9:00 am on Sunday.

Supplies to bring:
Drawing and/or painting supplies, reference material (can be 2 or 3 dimensional but must be non-copyrighted). Some reference material will be provided as well as pencils and paper. Bring your own supplies if you prefer a specific media and/or framing.

All participating artists will have 3 hours to complete their painting or drawing. Finished works will be judged and ribbons awarded.

All adult entries will be auctioned after the Miniatures Auction.
Juniors may donate their entries if they wish. Artists may elect to receive a 50/50 split or may donate full proceeds to help offset show expenses.

Members of the public enjoy visiting with the artists and seeing the progress of the varied pieces while artists enjoy working side-by-side.

Pumpkin Carvings 
Pumpkins carved during the show on Saturday will be awarded during the auction on Sunday the the proceeds being split between the Saskatoon Zoo Society and the show.
